105th anniversary of Poland regaining independence in the region

In Maleńc, nails of independence will be forged, in Fałkowo a monument of Marshal Piłsudski will be unveiled, and the dean of Konecko invites you to the collegiate church to sing patriotic songs. There will also be flower wreaths and an independence run. In Końskie, celebrations of National Independence Day will begin on November 10th. On that day, a ceremony will be organized at Primary School No. 2. The main festivities will start on November 11th at the Monument of Gratitude. After a short artistic part, participants will move to the collegiate church. “At 12 o’clock, together with the whole of Poland, we will sing the Polish anthem to the sound of the city orchestra,” explains Końskie’s mayor, Krzysztof Obratański.

A holy mass in the Konecko collegiate church will be held at 12:15. It is invited by Konecko’s dean, Father Jacek Wieczorek, who also encourages participation in the evening’s singing of patriotic songs. It will start at 5 p.m.

An interesting event is also taking place on November 11th at the Historic Metallurgical Plant in Maleńc. From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., a patriotic picnic will be held there. The program includes a visit to the former weapons factory, forging nails of independence, and striking commemorative coins. In Fałkowo, as part of the celebrations, a monument of Marshal Piłsudski will be unveiled. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. at the local church.
In Opoczno, the National Independence Day celebrations will begin at 8:45 a.m. with the laying of flower wreaths at the plaques of Marshal Józef Piłsudski and Wincenty Witos. A holy mass in the Opoczno collegiate church will be held at 9 a.m. After it, participants will move to the square in front of the museum, where flower wreaths will be placed at the Monument of the Unknown Soldier. As Tomasz Łuczkowski, Deputy Mayor of the city, says, the completion of the celebrations will be the opening of an exhibition at the Opoczno museum on November 13th.

National Independence Day will also be celebrated in other towns and villages in our region. In Poświętne, the residents will celebrate the regaining of freedom on November 10th. The program includes an artistic part at the school and laying of flowers at the obelisk. In Sławno, the III Municipal Independence Run will be organized on November 10th. The main celebrations will take place on November 11th. A holy mass will be held at the local church at 12 p.m. After it, the ceremonies will move to the monument of Marshal Józef Piłsudski. In Drzewica, the municipal celebration of National Independence Day will begin at the local church. A holy mass for the country will be held here at 4:30 p.m. The next point of the celebrations will be the ceremonies at the Memorial Stone. The whole event will conclude with an evening concert at the Regional Culture Center.
