On November 30, 2024, an exceptional sporting event took place in the sports hall at Primary School No. 2 in Czarnków – a volleyball tournament dedicated to the memory of Ryszard Krzyżanowski. Four teams took part in the competition, representing: Czarnków, Darłowo, Słupca, and Krzyż Wlkp. The results of the matches were: – Czarnków vs. Słupca: 2-0 (25-22, 25-13) – Darłowo vs. Krzyż Wlkp.: 2-0 (25-12, 25-22) – Czarnków vs. Krzyż Wlkp.: 2-1 (25-23, 22-25, 29-27) – Darłowo vs. Słupca: 2-0 (25-17, 25-23) – Słupca vs. Krzyż Wlkp.: 2-1 (23-25, 25-22, 25-23) – Darłowo vs. Czarnków: 2-0 (25-22, 25-18) The Mayor of Czarnków, Jacek Klimaszewski, was also present at the tournament, personally awarding trophies to the winners and emphasizing the importance of this event for the local community. Special thanks are also due to Henryk Zborowski, the organizer of the tournament, who took care of every detail and finalized all organizational matters. The city of Czarnków provided all participants with promotional materials, which will be a nice souvenir from this sporting event. Final classification: 1st place – Darłowo 2nd place – Czarnków 3rd place – Słupca 4th place – Krzyż Wlkp. Congratulations to all the teams for their sportsmanship and exciting matches! The tournament was not only an opportunity for competition but also a way to commemorate the outstanding figure that was Ryszard Krzyżanowski.
