On the 69th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II, local authorities, veterans’ organizations, and school youth laid flowers, paying tribute and commemorating this historic event.
Flowers and wreaths were laid at three monuments in Myszkow: the Monument of the Victims of World War II (at Wolności Street), the Katyń Monument (at Pułaskiego Street), and the Monument of those who died for the land of Myszków (at Kwiatkowskiego Street).
During the ceremonies, the local authorities were represented by Deputy Mayor of Myszkow Rafał Gil.
