I am glad that I can present to you a place that has changed its face so much over the last three years,” said Mayor Włodzimierz Żak, welcoming the gathered participants and starting another edition of the “People with class, or ecological savoir vivre” action.
On Saturday, November 14, we gathered at Pohulance to clean up the area around the PZU Health Trails. It took only three years for the surroundings of the pool at Pohulance to completely change their face. The “Jura Touch” complex of sports fields, outdoor mini gym, field with grandstand, dance circle, benches-lined alleys – this was the view that those who hadn’t reached this facility before could see.
This year, a large group of people took part in the action, representatives of the University of the Third Age, teachers, associations, entrepreneurs, residents of the city, city council, employees of the Municipal Office, a club of motocyclists from Myszków, who prepared a delicious, hot pea soup for the participants. The Chairman of the County Council also took part in the cleanup. The Department of Environmental Protection and Municipal Economy – the organizer of the action, prepared gloves and bags for the participants and collected all the waste collected.
