Antoni Łakomy Memorial

At the Antoni Łakomy Memorial for the Mayor of Brzeg Dolny Cup held on November 30 at the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center, 138 wrestlers from all over Poland competed. Wrestlers from MKS Rokita Brzeg Dolny won 16 individual medals and took first place in the team classification. The tournament was officially opened on behalf of Mayor Ireneusz Fury by the wrestling section manager of MKS Rokita, Adrian Czech. The main referee of the competition was Józef Szabowski. Young wrestling adepts from 12 clubs from all over Poland took part in the event. In the team classification, MKS Rokita Brzeg Dolny took first place, second place went to Bizon Milicz, and third place was awarded to Lotnik Wrocław. The Brzeg Dolny club was represented by 26 wrestlers. They all performed exceptionally well and collectively won 16 medals – 2 gold, 8 silver, and 6 bronze. Ksawery Rogalewicz and Dawid Rychter stood on the highest step of the podium. Silver medals were won by Alan Rychter, Maciej Piechocki, Gustaw Łukojko, Jakub Krzykwa, Pavlo Kucharczuk, Lena Walenciak, Szymon Cieszyński, and Tymon Tworek in their respective categories. Bronze medals were awarded to Michał Hajtko, Bogumił Łukojko, Konrad Kurzawa, Igor Polewczyk, Łukasz Grzywny, and Ignacy Riwoń.
