Approved applications under the Personal Assistant Program for persons with disabilities.

The Minister of Family and Social Policy has verified and approved the applications of municipalities and counties under the program “Personal Assistant for Persons with Disabilities” for Local Government Units – edition 2024. The local governments in the Masovian Voivodeship will receive nearly 69.5 million PLN for the implementation of the program. The “Personal Assistant for Persons with Disabilities” program for Local Government Units – edition 2024 is financed from the Solidarity Fund – a state special-purpose fund. Below is a list of applications approved by the Minister of Family and Social Policy. The Masovian Voivodeship has received funding in the amount of 69,437,835.05 PLN for the implementation of the program. Support will be provided to 198 local governments (the amount includes service costs). The transfer of funds from the Program will take place based on an agreement concluded within 30 days of the signing of the agreement between the Voivode of Mazovia and the Minister of Family and Social Policy. The program aims to promote assistant services and, as a result, increase the chances of disabled individuals leading a more independent and active life. The program is aimed at individuals with significant or moderate disabilities, as well as individuals with equivalent disability rulings and children up to the age of 16 with a disability ruling, including indications of the need for constant or long-term care or assistance from another person due to significantly limited ability to live independently, and the need for the daily involvement of a child’s caregiver in their treatment, rehabilitation, and education process. Some of the municipalities that have received funding include: Belsk Duży, Białobrzegi, Błędów, Borkowice, Chlewiska, Garbatka-Letnisko, Głowaczów, Iłża, Jastrząb, Jastrzębia, Jdlińsk, Klwów, Kowala, Kozienice, Orońsko, Pionki, Radom, Sienno, Wolanów, and Zakrzew.
