The topic of the April Retro Meeting is “city life”. We will take a closer look at one of the most well-known and recognisable places in Radom, immortalized on a popular colorized postcard,” Paweł Puton from Resursa Obywatelska announces. It is the former Hotel Rzymski located at 15 Żeromskiego Street and its surroundings. Recently, there have been plans for a new development in this area, which may not necessarily be in line with its “genius loci”. This place has a rich history, and soon, due to the plans for the expansion of the downtown area, it may disappear from the map of our city. Marta Trojanowska will talk about the great material and immaterial heritage that it holds, and Łukasz Zaborowski will discuss a certain unrealized project of a building that was supposed to be built there. The 57th Retro Meeting at Resursa will take place on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 6:00 PM. Participation in the event is free of charge.
