On Monday, April 8th, the first meeting of Mayor Włodzimierz Żak with residents of Myszków in the Pohulanka district took place at Public School No. 2.
These meetings were very popular in the previous two years, but yesterday’s had even more attendees. The simple reason, namely the strong daylight that would have made media presentation impossible, forced us to change the room to a smaller one. A professional and comprehensive information regarding finances, investments, future plans, and the overall condition of the city filled the first part of the meeting. For some, it might have been a long part of the meeting, but for others, it was a reliable source of information. Individual voices trying to shorten this part were drowned out by the rest of the meeting participants.
In the second part of the meeting, the questions from the participants mostly concerned the state of our roads. Mayor Żak explained for quite a long time what his plans are in this matter. Of course, not everyone agreed with them, which is fully understandable given the interest of the residents of a particular street. However, it must be understood that our budget has a certain limit, which even the best intentions cannot increase. Ahead of us, this week, are meetings in Mrzygłódka and Mrzygłod. The problems that will be discussed there will be the subject of the next edition of “Meetings with the Mayor”.
