When the opportunity to purchase a plot of land in Gruchla arose in 2011, Mayor Żakszybko took advantage of it. As part of the pre-emptive purchase, the city acquired 6 hectares of virgin land for quite a small amount of money. However, in order to encourage investors to invest in Myszków, this land needed to be developed. The task, with a significant amount of over 5.5 million PLN, was reduced to a 15% own contribution. We obtained over 4.5 million PLN from the Regional Operational Program of the Silesian Voivodeship for the “Infrastructure development of the area located at Gruchla street”. The contract for the construction of a sanitary sewer, stormwater system, water supply, and reconstruction of the road after the construction of utilities ends on June 16, 2014. It should be added that the offer for potential investors is not only the developed 6-hectare area, but also tax breaks. On May 9, 2013, a resolution was adopted regarding “exemptions from property tax as part of regional aid to support new investments and create new jobs related to a new investment in the Myszków area”. These two actions create a great opportunity not only to attract investors, but also to support the development of existing companies. Below, in the photo material, we present the changes that have taken place on the plot at Gruchla street in the last few months.
