Announced on November 3 of this year, the ecological competition aimed at children and youth from primary schools, middle schools, and kindergartens in Myszkow generated enormous interest among many students and their guardians.
The goal of the competition “To be a friend of Mother Earth” was to provide a comprehensive ecological education. We tried to awaken the children and youth’s sensitivity to the beauty of nature and to understand the need for its protection. Out of 330 works, the most interesting ones were selected, especially those that stood out with their ideas and sensitivity to the surrounding nature, as well as those that, in the opinion of the committee, required the most commitment, work, and were the most imaginative and aesthetic. The assessing committee awarded 12 prizes in various categories and 20 distinctions. Overall, the committee considers the competition to be at a very high level and sincerely congratulates all the laureates and distinguished participants, encouraging them and their guardians to participate in other competitions, as they can deepen their knowledge, showcase their talents, and win awards.
According to the competition rules, the committee consisting of Grażyna Łękarska – chairwoman, Jolanta Kempa, Wioletta Dworaczyk, and Milena Czerwik evaluated all submitted works and decided that:
– In the kindergarten category: “The forest seen through a kindergartener’s eyes”:
– 1st place – Agata Pas from Kindergarten No. 5
– 2nd place – Wiktoria Przepióra from Kindergarten No. 1
– 3rd place – Kacper Beleć from Kindergarten No. 1
The distinguished participants included: Julia Garncarek from Kindergarten No. 3, Adrian Malczewski from Kindergarten No. 6, Patryk Miśta from the Kindergarten Department at Primary School No. 6, Norbert Gębka from Kindergarten No. 6, Paulina Dąbek from Kindergarten No. 5, Kamil Kimla from Kindergarten No. 4, and Mateusz Brzeszczak from the Kindergarten Department at Primary School No. 6.
