Beautiful weather, great turnout, amazing integration – simply “Drawsko Runs”.

Last Sunday, another edition of the recreational race “Drawsko Biega” took place. From 11:00 on the Orlik pitch in Chopin Park, registrations for the race began. Nearly 400 participants signed up, which is one of the best results in terms of attendance in previous editions. At 11:40, Mayor of Drawska Pomorskie Krzysztof Czerwiński officially opened the race. After the opening of the event, all participants went to the Orlik pitch, where they took part in a warm-up led by Ms. Mirela Bany. After the warm-up, the runners headed to the race route, which led from the Orlik pitch in Chopin Park, through the Piastowska Promenade to Lake Okra, where a short break took place before starting the return journey along the Piastowska Promenade back to the Orlik pitch. At the finish line, participants were greeted with commemorative medals donated by the Mayor of Drawska Pomorskie and refreshments. The race was attended by families, students from schools in Drawsko, representatives of sports associations, and soldiers from the American military. We thank the employees of the Municipal Services Company for their help in organizing the event, the Municipal Guard, the Voluntary Fire Brigade Unit in Linowno, as well as Ms. Mirela Ban, Mr. Kamil Kuprowski, and Mr. Tadeusz Ziemiński for their organizational support. We hope that such a great turnout will always be with us.
