From Thursday, February 6, two foreign delegations from our friendly cities of Kopřivnice and the new city of Bandegrave;kandegrave;s have visited our town. On February 7, during the Promotor Myszkowa Gala, the Mayor of the City of Bandegrave;kandegrave;s, Izsó Gabor, the City Secretary of Tandagrave;rnok Landagrave;szlóne, the Mayor of Myszkowa Włodzimierz Żak, and the Chairwoman of the City Council Halina Skorek-Kawka signed a cooperation agreement. Entrepreneurs, politicians, cultural figures, athletes, and residents of the city who were present in the room all became witnesses and future heroes of the implementation of this agreement.
We are also renewing our cooperation with the Czech city of Kopřivnice, with which we signed an agreement in 1997. In recent years, its implementation has been manifested through some sports events and meetings of disabled children, as part of the “Butterfly” campaign. The mayor of the city (in our terminology, the mayor) Josef Jalůvka, as well as Mayor Żak and Izsó Gabor, emphasized that cooperation between our cities should be extended primarily to other areas of life, with a focus on cultural and economic exchange.

The guests toured the city. They were very impressed by our wastewater treatment plant and the production process at Sokpol company. They spent Saturday morning in Częstochowa visiting the Monastery at Jasna Góra. They were very impressed by the Promotor Myszkowa Gala, but what impressed them the most, as they often emphasized, was the warm family atmosphere of this meeting. The visit concluded with a Sunday farewell meeting with the local press. The Chief Editor of Gazeta Myszkowska, Jarosław Mazanek, responded to the invitations. In addition to our proposals for implementing agreements, we also await your proposals, tel. 34/313-26-82 ext. 101, 168 or email: promocja@miastomyszkow.pl.
