During the last blood donation campaign at the Vocational School Complex in Brzeg Dolny, organized on December 4th under the slogan “Blood Donors as Santa Clauses”, over 19 liters of blood were collected. Fifty-eight blood donors signed up to participate, of which forty-three donated blood. In total, 19,350 ml of this precious fluid was collected (450 ml from each donor). – The blood drive generated significant interest. Many people visited us early in the morning. At 9 o’clock, there were already 30 blood donors waiting in line for registration and an interview with the doctor – informs Adam Łyczko from the “Rokita” Association of Honor Blood Donors. The campaign was combined with a chocolate collection for children from the “Wiosna” Children’s Home in Krzydlina Mała. – As usual before the holidays, we collected sweets for the children from the children’s home. Blood donors shared chocolates with them, which they receive as part of a regenerative meal – adds Adam Łyczko. The next blood drives in the Wołów county will take place on January 28th, 2025 at the Vocational Training Center in Wołów, on February 19th at the Vocational School Complex in Brzeg Dolny, and on February 26th at the Vocational School Complex in Wołów.
