The Film Culture Center “Stylowy” in Zamość and the Film Club “Senso” invite you to film screenings from the Cinema Connoisseur series. In March, in the club’s repertoire “Zone of Interests” (14.03.2024 at 6:30 pm) and “Bastard” (28.03.2024 at 6:30 pm). The screenings will take place at the Zamojska Akademia Kultury, Akademicka 8 street, 2nd floor, cinema hall “From A to Z”. “ZONE OF INTERESTS” is a British-Polish co-production that received as many as 5 Oscar nominations. The film is about the everyday life of Auschwitz commandant Rudolf Höss and his family. It is a study of the banality of evil, without traumatic images of genocide or camp reality. “BASTARD” – a gripping drama about the nature that refuses to give in to humans, great dreams, and even greater sacrifice. It is a story about a proud and unyielding man facing adversity, and a woman who becomes his ally in the fight against evil, death, and condemnation.
