Juand#380; for the sixteenth time ZSP No. 3 in Myszkow was the organizer of the Regional Theatrical Confrontations. The young creators were wished the best by the City Cultural Center.
The audience was filled with distinguished guests – Member of the Polish Sejm Jadwiga Wiand#347;niewska, Mayor of Myszkow Janusz Romaniuk, Deputy Mayor Rafaand#322; Gil, Education Department Manager Krystyna Jasiand#324;ska, Director of the Cultural Center Jarosand#322;aw Jaskólski, City Office Spokesperson Maand#322;gorzata Kitala-Miroszewska, and the judge of the performances Eland#380;bieta Jatulewicz – a well-known local creator of excellent theaters, currently an employee of the “and#346;landandrdquo; team.
Five groups from schools No. 1, 3, and 5 in Myszkow, the Jan Paweand#322; II Gymnasium from and#379;arek Letnisko, and the Child and Family Support Center in Góra Wand#322;odowska performed. The groups presented a diverse repertoire and various forms, including spoken, sung, and pantomime elements. The confrontations took place in workshop form – each performance was discussed by Mrs. Jatulewicz. Her valuable comments will certainly be helpful to the groups in the future. Special attention deserves the hosts of the event, who, under the innocent name of the fairytale “Cinderella,” presented an incredibly humorous look at characters such as Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, or Sleeping Beauty. The excellent acting of the young actors and a great script deserve full recognition.
A nice touch was the organizers’ presentation of thanks to Mayor Janusz Romaniuk “for supporting the theatrical activities of young people.”
I am moved that such a distinguished group sits in the audience. For these young actors, their preparing teachers, and organizers, this is a great distinction. And I must add that having attended many such events, I rarely encounter city hosts – said E. Jatulewicz in her summary of the Confrontations.
Special thanks are due to the organizers – teachers of ZSP No. 3: Mrs. Urszula Kozieand#322;, Mrs. Graand#380;yna Spyra, Mrs. Renata Cholewka, and Mrs. Izabela Kochel. It should also be noted that each of the groups received gifts from the “and#346;landandrdquo; team, the City Office, and ZSP No. 3.
We are eagerly waiting for the next confrontations!
