Last year’s beginning of October spoiled us with beautiful weather. It was therefore the perfect time to start the “Fields of Hope” campaign at Kindergarten No. 2, in which the kindergarten community participated for the first time.
Fields of Hope begin with the autumn planting of daffodils. This is a nationwide hospice campaign aimed at raising funds for hospice activities among children, youth, and the whole society. Esteemed guests attended this ceremony: Włodziemierz Żak – Mayor of the City of Myszków, Anna Kaptacz, Aneta Wcisło, student council of Gymnasium No. 1 named after M. Copernicus in Myszków, Primary School with Integration Unit No. 3 named after T. Kościuszko.
Currently, Kindergarten No. 2 continues the “Daffodil Fields of Hope” campaign by participating in a competition, the aim of which is to present a photograph illustrating the creation of a newsletter at the facility, as well as a plastic arts competition “Daffodil Fields of Hope”, aimed at creating artworks by children that evoke positive feelings towards those awaiting our help and support and express the desire to strive for hope.
