On September 19, 2022, the Act on special solutions regarding certain heat sources in connection with the fuel market situation was published (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 1967), which entered into force on September 20, 2022.
We would like to inform you that in Myszków, the Municipal Social Welfare Center at 7 Pułaskiego Street handles applications for the payment of the supplement for households using certain heat sources. Applications for the above-mentioned supplement will be accepted from September 26, 2022.
According to the provisions of the Act, the following persons are entitled to the supplement for using certain heat sources: a person in a household where the main heating source is a solid fuel boiler, fireplace, stove, air heater, cooking stove, solid fuel kitchen stove, coal kitchen stove, or solid fuel tiled stove, fueled by wood pellets, chunk wood, or other biomass, or a gas boiler fueled by liquefied LPG gas, or an oil boiler entered or reported to the central emission performance register of buildings referred to in Article 27a (1) of the Act of 21 November 2008 on supporting thermomodernization and renovations and on the central emission register of buildings (Journal of Laws of 2022, items 438, 1561, and 1576) until August 11, 2022, or after this date in the case of main heating sources reported or entered into the CEEB for the first time, as referred to in Article 27g (1) of this Act.
The household supplement is as follows:
3000 PLN – in case the main heat source is a solid fuel boiler fueled by wood pellets or other biomass, excluding chunk wood;
2000 PLN – in case the main heat source is an oil boiler.
1000 PLN – in case the main heat source is a solid fuel boiler, fireplace, stove, air heater, cooking stove, or coal kitchen stove fueled by chunk wood;
500 PLN – in case the main heat source is a gas boiler fueled by liquefied LPG gas.
A household is understood as a single individual living alone and managing a household (single-person household) or a single individual together with related or unrelated persons living together and managing a household (multi-person household).
For the purpose of submitting applications for the supplement, it is assumed that one person can be a member of only one household.
If more than one person submits an application for the supplement for a multi-person household, the supplement is granted to the applicant who submitted the application first.
If more than one household resides at one residential address, one household supplement is granted to all households residing at that address.
If applications for the supplement are submitted for more than one household at the same residential address, the supplement is granted to the applicant who submitted the application first. The remaining applications will not be considered.
The supplement is not granted to households covered by a positively considered application for the coal supplement referred to in Article 2 of the Act of August 5, 2022 on the coal supplement.
The supplement is not granted to a person in a household for which solid fuel was purchased at a price and from a trader referred to in Article 2 (1) of the Act of June 23, 2022 on special solutions for the protection of consumers of certain solid fuels in connection with the market situation of these fuels.

Applications can be submitted:
electronically using the ePUAP platform
in person at the Municipal Social Welfare Center in Myszków, 7 Pułaskiego Street, from Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 14:30.
If the application for the supplement is submitted electronically, it must be signed with a qualified electronic signature, trusted signature, or personal signature.
Applications for the supplement can be submitted until November 30, 2022.
Applications for the supplement submitted after November 30, 2022 will not be considered.
The granting of the supplement does not require a decision. (A decision is only issued in case of a refusal to grant the coal supplement, revocation of the right to the supplement, or a decision regarding wrongly obtained coal supplement).
Information about the grant of the supplement will be sent to the email address indicated in the application. If the applicant has not provided an email address, they can receive the information personally.
NOT RECEIVING INFORMATION ABOUT THE GRANT OF THE SUPPLEMENT DOES NOT IMPEDE THE PAYMENT OF THIS SUPPLEMENT.
