Do you know Polish history, geography, traditions, and customs?

March 1st at the Polish School in Kowel, the 2nd Poland Knowledge Contest took place. Students answered questions related to Polish history, geography, holidays, traditions, and customs. The meeting was opened by the president of TKP in Kowel. He welcomed the participants and members of the society. He reminded that the aim of the society and the school is to maintain knowledge of the Polish language and traditions. Then Irena Herka, who prepared the event, conducted the contest consisting of questions of varying levels of difficulty – for 1, 2, and 3 points. The competition was very intense and it was not known until the very end who would win. The final results of the contest are as follows: 1st place Anhelina Piveń, 2nd place Nadzieja Fedosiuk, 3rd place Oksana Fedosiuk. All the students study in an advanced group. At the end, the participants of the contest received prizes and gifts. The students said goodbye, singing their favorite Polish and Ukrainian songs with a guitar.
