On September 14, 2014, the THIRD EDITION OF THE GREAT ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEST will take place. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE HISTORY OF THE EVENT, THOUSANDS OF POLES ALL OVER POLAND WILL HAVE A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO TEST THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH FOR FREE USING FRAGMENTS OF THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS LANGUAGE EXAMS IN THE WORLD – TOEIC AND TOEFL. Take a trial exam, and passing the official one won’t be a problem. Especially with a special discount code that you will receive during the event. Have you not heard about the Great English Language Test yet? It is a nationwide educational initiative, which in 2014 has its third edition. On the same day, at the same time, residents of almost 100 Polish cities will take a test that will determine their level of English proficiency. The aim of the event is: – to check the English language competences of residents of individual cities, – to present the test result to each participant along with a description of the level, – to present the average result for each city to the public in the media, – to encourage continuous learning of English. Who can take the Great English Language Test? Parents, children and grandparents! For the first time in the history of the event, whole families can take the test. The minimum age of participants is 8 years old. The tests are prepared for three age groups: the first group includes children aged 8 to 12, the second group is youth aged 13 to 18, and the third group is adults from 19 years old. Everyone will have the opportunity to test their knowledge by taking a test adapted to their age. So FAMILIES, READY, SET, GO! Not only cities can compete, but also whole families. Invite neighbors and friends and have fun together during the Great English Language Test. What will the Great English Language Test in Myszków look like? The local organizer – MEMO Foreign Language Teaching Center in cooperation with the nationwide organizer – the language school Homeschool, invites residents of Myszków county to participate in the nationwide event organized throughout Poland on September 14, 2014. In the welcoming interiors of the Myszków City Cultural Center, we will meet on September 14 at 11:00. Everyone interested in taking the test should register online at www.myszkow.znaangielski.pl. Registration will be possible from August 25, 2014. All event participants will take a test assessing their language skills level. The event will be accompanied by additional attractions. After a few days, all participants in the event in Poland will receive results determining their level on the CEFR scale. The idea of the Great English Language Test has met with enthusiasm from local authorities. The event has been placed under the Honorary Patronage of the Mayor of Myszków Włodzimierz Żak. It has also been officially supported by Senator of the Republic of Poland Jarosław W. Lasecki.
