The new financial perspective of European funds means tens of millions of euros for Poland. Social organizations can also benefit from this money. Calls for proposals have already been announced for some voivodeships as part of regional programs, with schedules for other calls available. In projects involving environmental issues, free support can be obtained from the NGO Advisors Network – Climate Funds.
Climate Funds – NGO Advisors Network is a project implemented by the All-Poland Federation of Non-Governmental Organizations (OFOP) in cooperation with the Sendzimir Foundation as part of the “Green Leader” program funded by the Polish-American Freedom Foundation. We are building a nationwide network of over 30 advisors specializing in obtaining European funds for social and investment projects aimed at mitigating and adapting to climate change. Local NGOs and partnerships between organizations and municipalities in municipalities with up to 50,000 inhabitants throughout Poland can benefit from advisory support.
NGO Advisors – Climate Funds not only support by providing information on available European funds and specific calls for proposals in various voivodeships through organized informational meetings, but also by directly assisting throughout the advisory support process. Our Network focuses on building cooperation and partnerships between local governments and social organizations, and on including the voices of residents in the implementation of these projects. Social organizations can be incredibly valuable partners. Therefore, we support the process of consulting and involving local communities in the planning and implementation of projects that are to be funded by European funds, as well as inspire practical and interesting environmental protection solutions.
Thanks to the support of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation, support for communities with fewer than 50,000 inhabitants is free. We invite individuals who have ideas for implementing projects in their communities to contact advisors operating in each voivodeship. Detailed information and contacts for individual advisors can be found on the website www.ofop.eu/funduszedlaklimatu. Feel free to reach out!
