Winter is approaching. The District Building Inspector in the city of Radom has issued a special announcement reminding about the potential hazards during the winter season. Periodic inspections of the technical condition of buildings, proper maintenance of the building’s technical state, checks for structural overload, snow removal from roofs, inspections of gas installations and ventilation are all important. As winter approaches, Piotr Pochylski, the District Building Inspector in the city of Radom, has issued a special announcement reminding owners and managers of buildings about the potential hazards during the winter season. This also includes inspections of heating devices, gas stoves, chimney inspections and cleaning, and checking ventilation systems. Cleaning roofs from accumulated snow and removing icicles are also winter duties for building owners and managers. Failure to carry out periodic inspections or notify the authorities of their completion may result in a fine. However, the focus here is not on fines, but on ensuring safety. The health and lives of people are at stake.
