Winter is approaching. The County Inspector of Building Control in the city of Radom has issued a special announcement reminding about potential hazards during the winter period. Periodic inspections of the technical condition of buildings, ensuring proper technical state of the building, checks for structural overloading, snow removal from roofs, inspections of gas installations, and ventilation are all important. Prior to the upcoming winter, Piotr Pochylski, the County Inspector of Building Control in the city of Radom, has issued a special announcement reminding owners and managers of buildings about potential hazards during the winter period. This also includes checking heating devices, gas boilers, chimney inspections and cleaning, and monitoring ventilation systems. Clearing roofs from accumulated snow or removing icicles is also a winter duty for building owners and managers. Piotr Pochylski, the County Inspector of Building Control in the city of Radom, stated that failure to carry out periodic inspections or not notifying the authorities about their conduction is subject to a fine. However, what matters most is the safety of people’s health and lives.
