The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development announces the second competition this year for co-financing projects under Action 8.1 “Support for economic activity in the field of the electronic economy”. The call for proposals runs from May 6 to May 17, 2013.
The amount of support can be up to 70% of qualifying expenses, with the value of these expenses not less than 20,000 PLN. The amount can be up to 600,000 PLN. In the case of a micro-entrepreneur or a small entrepreneur who is a natural person, who is no more than 27 years old in the year of application for support and applies for support in the amount not exceeding 80,000 PLN, the amount of funding can be up to 85% of qualifying expenses.
Micro-entrepreneurs or small entrepreneurs with a registered office in the territory of the Republic of Poland, and in the case of an entrepreneur who is a natural person – a place of residence in the territory of the Republic of Poland, operating for less than 2 years, may apply for funding for business activities under this Action.
Funding can be granted to an applicant who has submitted no more than one application for support under a given competition
Under the grant, funding in the field of the electronic economy is provided for projects involving running online businesses, providing e-services, with these projects including the creation of digital products necessary for providing e-services. Grants can be obtained for the creation of, among others, a Polish Facebook, a social networking site, a dating service, a business directory.
Projects may be supported for a period not exceeding 24 months. The required product of a project eligible for support is the preparation, implementation, and provision of at least one new e-service.
