One is a police officer around the clock. This was proven by Senior Constable Karol Kisiel from the Police Prevention Department in Radom, who, while driving to work, noticed a man running away, chased by a security guard. The police officer caught the man after a pursuit. It turned out he had stolen perfume worth 200 PLN from a nearby drugstore. This is another example that even off duty, law enforcement officers respond to misdemeanors and crimes.
On Tuesday, before his shift, Senior Constable Karol Kisiel, returning from shopping in one of the markets in Radom, saw a man running out of a store, chased by a security guard. Seeing the situation, the officer got into his car and followed the fleeing man. At a certain point, he stopped the car and ran after him on foot. After a few hundred meters of pursuit, Senior Constable Karol Kisiel caught up with, immobilized, and apprehended the man. It turned out that he had stolen perfume worth 200 PLN from a nearby drugstore. The officer called for a police patrol to the scene.
The amateur of other people’s property turned out to be a 35-year-old resident of Radom. For the offense of theft, he was fined, and the stolen perfumes were returned to the seller.
