According to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health, on April 1st, 2020, centers for environmental psychological and psychotherapeutic care for children and adolescents, constituting the first level of reference of the new model of mental health protection for children and adolescents, started operating.
One such center started operating at the Eden Medical Center in Myszków, located at 18 Zawiercka Street. It provides free services to children and adolescents up to 21 years old within the scope of the National Health Fund (NFZ). Psychotherapists and psychologists also travel to the child’s home and collaborate with schools, kindergartens, or other institutions associated with the child. The center is also open on Saturdays, and the waiting time for the first appointment will not exceed 7 days. The center also offers psychotherapeutic and psychological assistance in the form of teleconsultations.
In October, thanks to the efforts of Deputy Mayor Iwona Franlelak, the city bus line number 4 was launched, making the commute to the center more convenient.
