In Poland, there is a continuous increase in the number of legally employed foreigners. In the Podlaskie region, it is primarily citizens of Belarus.

The number of foreigners working and subject to social insurance in our country has already exceeded 1,111,000 people. The largest group is still comprised of citizens of Ukraine. In the Podlaskie Voivodeship, however, the dominant group consists of citizens of Belarus, although foreigners from more distant, often exotic countries are also reported for insurance.
