On March 28, 2018, the Supervisory Board of the Voivodeship Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Katowice approved the “Special financing rules for individuals implementing investments under the Smog Stop Program entitled: Co-financing of tasks carried out by residents of the Silesian Voivodeship to reduce low emissions – 2018 Edition”.
Intensive work is currently underway on the new Recruitment Regulations for the SMOG STOP Program – 2018 Edition. The above decision means that the new Regulations will be published in the near future (in the second quarter of 2018). Individuals interested in receiving grants will find out from it, among other things:
– when the call for grant applications will take place,
– who will be eligible to apply for a grant for the replacement of an old heat source with a new one,
– what scope of material will be covered by the co-financing,
– what will be the amount of co-financing,
– whether it will be possible to combine the Fund’s grant with other financial support,
– what documents will need to be submitted in order to apply for co-financing.
The call for applications is tentatively planned for the fourth quarter of 2018.
Furthermore, we inform that in accordance with the adopted specific conditions:
– the beneficiaries of the Program will be individuals who own a legal title to a single-family residential building,
– a single-family residential building will be understood as a detached building or a building in semi-detached, terraced or group construction, structurally constituting an independent whole, in which the division into no more than two residential units or one residential unit and one commercial unit with a total area not exceeding 30% of the total area of the building is allowed,
– invoices issued and expenses incurred after May 31, 2018 will be eligible costs for settlement of the Fund’s resources,
– the completion of the task cannot take place before June 1, 2018.
