It’s time for a polar bear plunge. “Andrzejki” and a charity event have been scheduled.

Polar bears from the entire area are starting the season with a bang. They invite you to “Andrzejki” in the icy water in Porąbka.

Polar bears associated with the Little Beskid Polar Bear Club are starting the season of bathing in icy water. The club is also known in the Wadowice county. This is thanks, among other things, to a beautiful fundraising campaign for Oliwier, a child with SMA from Wadowice. We wrote about it HERE.
As the polar bears inform, it’s time to start the new season, and it will kick off on November 19th at noon. On this day, a party to celebrate Andrzejki is planned. Volunteers will, of course, enter the water in Porąbka, under the waterfalls near the Chałupa by the river (Stadionowa street).
As is usual in this club, the event will be an opportunity for charitable actions. This time, the spotlight will be on animals.

Let’s make sure that our four-legged friends spend this winter in convenient, safe, comfortable, and warm places. The fundraising can be supported financially by dropping donations into the collection box. In cooperation with centers, we have prepared a list of needs [HERE]. Your help can work wonders! Together we can make the lives of our animal friends better – inform the organizers of the event.

Not only winter swimming, but also a picnic with refreshments and the opportunity to use a sauna are planned for Sunday (November 19th). There will also be attractions for the youngest.
