The Myszków Participatory Budget is starting for the fourth time. The experiences and effects of the three previous editions clearly show that residents are eager to participate in such initiatives and they have no shortage of interesting ideas, thanks to which our Small Homeland has a chance to flourish even more.
We hope that the IV edition of the Participatory Budget will meet with great interest from you, and residents will once again show how much potential lies in them and in our city.
In this year’s edition, several changes have been introduced, including: – changes to the schedule Stage 1: submission of projects – from May 2, 2018 to May 25, 2018 Stage 2: publication of the list of submitted projects – by June 4, 2018 Stage 3: verification of submitted projects and consultation with project applicants along with their correction – from June 5, 2018 to August 17, 2018 Stage 4: publication of the list of projects allowed for voting and the list of rejected projects – by August 28, 2018 Stage 5: meetings of the Mayor with residents in districts to present the submitted projects from August 29, 2018 to September 14, 2018 Meeting dates will be posted on the City Hall website. Stage 6: electronic voting by residents on the selection of projects for implementation in 2019 from September 20, 2018 (from 00:00) to September 26, 2018 (until 23:59), by filling out the electronic form available on the website www.twojbudzet.miastomyszkow.pl Stage 7: announcement of results – presentation of the list of recommended projects for implementation in 2019 within 5 days of determining the voting results. The change in the schedule allows for earlier voting, and the winning projects can be included in the city budget project for 2019 and possibly in the Long-Term Financial Forecast. – increase in the number of people supporting a project from 30 to 50 residents of a given district, – reporting the implementation of one task in the project submission form, – provision allowing the combination of projects submitted with a similar scope or location as one project.
