Jedlnia-Letnisko Fire Department will have a new fire truck.

Firefighters from the Volunteer Fire Brigade in Jedlnia-Letnisko will soon receive a new, modern rescue and firefighting vehicle with equipment. The municipality has secured almost 1.5 million PLN for this purpose as part of the European Funds for Mazovia program with the support of the Mazovian Voivodeship Government. – This equipment is essential today for saving the lives, health, and property of our residents – emphasized the mayor of Jedlnia-Letnisko, Piotr Leśnowolski. He also added that the unit responds to over 150 incidents annually for various rescue operations.

– The purchase of a heavy firefighting vehicle is a costly matter, but undoubtedly very necessary for a unit that is part of the National Fire and Rescue System – said the Vice-Marshal of Mazovia, Rafał Rajkowski.

The three-axle vehicle will have a 6×6 drive and a water tank with a capacity of approximately 8000 liters. There is room for six firefighters in the driver’s cab.

Tomasz Siczek, the president of the Volunteer Fire Brigade and the municipal commander in Jedlnia-Letnisko, mentioned that the new vehicle will streamline the work of the firefighters and improve the safety of the municipality and the Radom County residents.

The total purchase price of the vehicle is over 1.7 million PLN. The remaining funds will be covered by the Jedlnia-Letnisko Municipality.
