On August 29th in Ruska Wies, we will meet during the Harvest Festival of the Ełk Municipality – a special day that combines respect for farmers’ work, local traditions, and the shared fun of the residents of our municipality. This year’s celebration of the harvest will be an opportunity not only to thank for this year’s crops, but also to spend time together. Participants can expect performances by folk bands and local artists, contests for the most beautiful harvest wreath, as well as booths of local communities and the Rural Housewives Association, and attractions for the youngest. In the evening, Brathanki, Masters, and Topky will take the stage. Traditional flavors will also abound – during the event, you will be able to taste, among others, kartacze and bigos. However, the Harvest Festival is above all a meeting of residents, a thank you for year-round work, and the preservation of traditions that have been an important part of Polish village life for generations.
