The tradition of the city has become the New Year’s meetings of the Mayor of Myszkow – Janusz Romaniuk with representatives of local businesses and public institutions. In addition to the custom of exchanging holiday and New Year’s wishes and listening to carols, the meeting was also an opportunity to express gratitude to local entrepreneurs.
The invited guests included: Member of the Polish Parliament Jadwiga Wiśniewska, Councilor of the Voivodeship Sejmik of Silesia Andrzej Hutnik, Starosta of Myszków Marian Wróbel, Chairman of the County Council Janusz Jakubiec, Chairwoman of the City Council Urszula Motylewska, Commandant of the State Fire Service Dariusz Caban, County Police Commander Henryk Sieradzki, local media, and above all, local entrepreneurs.
On behalf of the local government authorities and all participants, Mayor Janusz Romaniuk warmly welcomed and thanked them for accepting the invitation. The Mayor thanked everyone for their hard work in the past year and congratulated both on their smaller and greater successes. It is always an opportunity to sum up the past year and present plans for the current year.
At the meeting, as every year, the Mayor’s Awards “Promoter of Myszkow” were presented. This time they were awarded to the Interdistrict Cooperative Bank in Myszkow for supporting local entrepreneurship and promoting the city and the region, and to the company Polimer II – for the systematic, sustainable development of the company and the highest quality of offered products. The Mayor also awarded a diploma to the Merchants from the Market Hall in Myszkow for cultivating the best Polish trading traditions through the promotion of reliable trading companies and their owners, who are the foundation of the Polish economy.
After the official part, there was an opportunity for informal discussions in the corridors. The New Year’s Meeting is a great opportunity to thank everyone for their cooperation and in the festive atmosphere – simply to have a chat.
