Mazovia still helps Ukraine.

The Mazovia Regional Authority continues to assist the Ukrainian citizens affected by the war. This time, 1,200 food packages, household cleaning products, and hygiene items will be delivered to the Miţhirja Humanitarian Center. Additionally, the Caritas Archdiocese of Lviv of the Roman Catholic Church will receive household appliances. The regional authority has allocated over 330,000 PLN for this purpose. The transport was received by representatives of Ukrainian organizations. The food packages for the Miţhirja Humanitarian Center include tea, powdered soups, chocolate, and canned goods. Additionally, 1,000 sets of chemical products consisting of powders, liquids, and sanitary wipes will be sent to Ukraine. The center will also receive power banks. The Mazovia regional authority has allocated over 200,000 PLN for this purpose. On the other hand, representatives of Caritas Archdiocese of Lviv of the Roman Catholic Church received household appliances worth over 130,000 PLN.

The purchase was made by the Mazovia Regional Office in Warsaw thanks to the project entitled “Poland-Belarus-Ukraine Cross-Border Cooperation Program 2014-2020” funded by the European Union.

Furthermore, in 2023, the Mazovia regional authority purchased a heating boiler worth over 14,000 PLN for the needs of firefighters from the 3rd Fire and Rescue Unit of the Main Rescue Service Administration in the Zakarpattia Oblast. It was delivered through the Miţhirja Humanitarian Center.

The support of the Mazovia regional authority in 2022. The following were purchased for the needs of the affected people in Ukraine from the own funds of the Mazovia region:

22 power generators for the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration for nearly 160,000 PLN gross,
408 units of AMBU manual resuscitators, 200 units of goggles, 250 pairs of tactical gloves, and 100 sets of thermally-active clothing for the Lviv Military Medical Center for almost 173,000 PLN,
300 sets of thermally-active clothing, 123 polar jackets, a firefighting motor pump, suction and pressure hoses, 60 sets of firefighting uniforms, helmets, gloves, 2 Turbomatic water-powered fans, 16 pressurized hoses measuring 75 and 52, and 12 units of AMBU manual resuscitators for the Lviv Regional Military Administration with a gross value of 235,000 PLN,
a power generator for the Life Safety University in Lviv for over 103,000 PLN gross,
200 mats, 1,950 moistened paper, 960 moistened wipes, 100 camp beds and 50 travel cots, 10,000 batteries, 2,000 bar soaps, 2,000 toothpastes and toothbrushes, 1,000 flashlights, 350 sleeping bags, and 600 sets of thermally-active clothing for the Miţhirja Humanitarian Center, with a gross value of over 200,000 PLN,
electrical goods for the Caritas of the Sambir-Drohobych Diocese for 29,500 PLN gross,
2 SHIMADZU MOBILEART EVOLUTION MX7 X-ray machines for the Lviv Regional Hospital for War Veterans and Suppressed Individuals and the Lviv Regional Oncology-Medical-Diagnostic Center for almost 700,000 PLN gross,
60 units of AMBU manual resuscitators for the hospital in Przemyśl for almost 3,500 PLN gross,
659 blankets, 476 pillows, and 34 duvets – assistance for refugees totaling 104,500 PLN gross.
