Today, another meeting of the county leader with mayors and municipal mayors took place at the County Office in Czarnków, aiming to discuss current topics concerning the county and its residents. The starost of Czarnków-Trzcianka, Grzegorz Bogacz, after welcoming the gathered guests, gave the floor to Mariola Kubiś – the head of the Communication Department, who discussed the organization of public transport in the Czarnków-Trzcianka county. Next, Agata Michalska – deputy head of the Health and Social Cooperation Department, presented the amounts of funding for individual municipalities within the County Events Calendar, and introduced the proposal of a new event – the Grand Prix of the Czarnków-Trzcianka County, a series of 8 races located throughout the county. These flat races will take place in the 2025/2026 season. The next event – the Crown of the Czarnków-Trzcianka County – was discussed by Marcin Ćwirzeń, the president of the Wolf Team Association and organizer of many sports events. This time, there will be obstacle races for adults and children, organized by Krzyż Wielkopolski, Lubasz, and Czarnków, where the final will take place. “We want to achieve a positive impact and create a positive, family atmosphere. It is a way to strengthen physical and mental health, showing that with the right support, we can overcome any obstacle. It will also be a great way to promote local activities and entrepreneurs,” emphasized the originator. The floor was then taken over by the starost, who discussed investments in road infrastructure and projects in the upcoming budget year, as well as the county’s actions in the field of health protection, including the appointment of Kinga Olech-Kulesza as the director of the County Hospital in Trzcianka, and the long-standing issue of the lack of night shifts in pharmacies in the county. The series of meetings with city and municipal leaders will be continued in order to develop solutions that best meet the needs of the county residents. – Marta Burakowska, County Office in Czarnków
