On Tuesday, November 26, during a session of the Grodzisk County Council, the honorary badge “Meritorious for the Wielkopolska Voivodeship” was presented to Tomasz Dolata – the Secretary of the Grodzisk County. The honorary badge “For Merits for the Wielkopolska Voivodeship” is awarded to individuals, state institutions, local government units, social and professional organizations, and other legal entities who have significantly contributed to the economic, cultural, and social development of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship through their professional or social activities and the implementation of their tasks for the voivodeship.
On behalf of the Marshal of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship, the award was presented by Henryk Szymański – a Councilor of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship. The received badge is the result of many years of work for the county self-government, as well as a series of actions aimed at improving the knowledge and skills of employees of local government units.
Jan Grochowy, a Member of the Board of the Grodzisk County, also received the honorary badge, from the hands of the Vice-Marshal of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship Wojciech Jankowiak and the Councilor of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship Henryk Szymański, during a ceremonial session of the Wielichowo Municipal Council, which took place on November 27. The presented medal is the culmination of many years of work for the county self-government, as well as personal involvement in professional and social activities.
