On December 13, 2015 (Sunday), the last running event of the year took place as part of the PZU Health Trails campaign, titled “Santa Run”. The event started at 10:00 at the “Dotyk Jury” Sports Complex.
Despite the windy and wet weather, 50 male and female participants lined up at the start, with the option to complete 1, 2, or 3 loops on the course (each loop was 3 km). Among the participants, Mayor of Myszków Włodzimierz Żak could not be missing, of course. Prizes were drawn for the participants at the end of the event, sponsored by Przystań Leśniów – Anita and Roman Garncarz, Mr. Robert Tuora – Pizzeria Capri, Mr. Marek Ferdynand – Fobos Company (car wash), MOSiR Myszków – passes for sports activities (boxing classes, women’s gymnastics aerobic or pilates, participation in personal training at the gym). Water for the participants was provided by the “Jurajska” company at each run.
The culmination of the entire running event was the drawing of the main prize in the form of a laptop, among the participants who took part in at least three out of the four runs held within the PZU Health Trails campaign this year. In total, approximately 200 male and female participants competed throughout all four editions. Due to the good attendance, the organizers have decided to continue the monthly running campaign in 2016, with a similar format divided into a spring edition (January-May) and an autumn edition (August-December). We thank all participants and sponsors for their participation this year and invite all interested parties to join us in 2016.
