Mobile Multimedia Museum

Next Saturday and Sunday (October 13 and 14), the Mobile Multimedia Museum will be set up in front of the City Hall parking lot. Admission to the museum is free, and it can be visited on Saturday from 12:00-18:00 and on Sunday from 10:00 to 16:00.
Information from the Mobile Museum website: “The Mobile Multimedia Museum project was initiated by President Andrzej Duda on the occasion of the Centenary of Poland’s Regained Independence celebrations.
The Mobile Multimedia Museum is a meeting with the history of Poland presented using the latest technology. The exhibition’s narration is centered around the theme of building a modern Poland that was reborn after 123 years of captivity. The exhibition portrays a broad panorama of the Second Polish Republic, devoting much space to outstanding Poles and native inventions. During the tour, we learn about the biographies of six Fathers of Independence: Józef Piłsudski, Ignacy Jan Paderewski, Wojciech Korfanty, Roman Dmowski, Ignacy Daszyński, and Wincenty Witos.
During the tour, we embark on a virtual journey through various spheres of the Republic’s life: we follow the successes of Poles in the fields of culture, sports, economy, learn about social life, and admire Polish landscapes.
The exhibition is attractive for viewers of all ages – multimedia applications can be operated intuitively. We invite all interested parties, families, school classes, tours, and other organized groups to visit. The exhibition can serve as a multimedia and interactive introduction to civics, history, Polish language, art, or various activities in non-formal education. Complementing the exhibition is an outdoor board game in which participants take on the role of reporters discovering interesting and important aspects of life during the interwar period. Visiting the exhibition takes about 20 minutes, and the outdoor game takes about 20-30 minutes.”
