New car and quad for the police in Kozienice

The Kia Sportage patrol car and Segway quad purchased together with the municipality of Kozienice have been delivered to the District Police Headquarters in Kozienice. The Kia Sportage with all-wheel drive, automatic transmission, and a 1.6-liter engine producing 150 hp will be used by the prevention department of the District Police Headquarters in Kozienice. Inspector Sławomir Rek, the commander, says:

Officers from the prevention department will also use the quad, which they had the opportunity to test during joint patrols with the forest guard and fire brigade.
Both vehicles were purchased with co-financing from the police and the municipality of Kozienice. Mayor Piotr Kozłowski says:

The Kozienice local government has allocated around 200,000 złotych for this purpose this year. Additionally, thanks to the financial support from the municipality, we can expect to see more police patrols on the streets of Kozienice.
The new equipment was blessed by the police chaplain in Kozienice, Father Tomasz Pastuszka, and the parish priest of St. Krzyża in Kozienice, Father Dariusz Sałek. The official handover of the car and quad was also attended by the deputy mayor of Kozienice, Dorota Stępień, other mayors and village heads from the Kozienice district, as well as the Kozienice county governor, Krzysztof Wolski.
