“The access to the Internet for educational units in Myszków and families at risk of digital exclusion” is a program, from which, in the previous edition, computer equipment with software was delivered to 100 families, and to our schools and facilities 178 identical sets were provided. After expanding the scope of the project, we purchased another 88 sets (81 families and 7 facilities). The only thing left to do is to expand the broadband network.
After three cancelled tenders and negotiations without announcement, we managed to select a contractor. However, the saved amount does not cover the value of the task. The Implementing Authority for European Programs promised to reimburse us, but for now, we must secure the amount of approximately 78,000 PLN from our own funds. The last extraordinary session was dedicated to securing funds for the implementation of the task for our residents.
Currently, we are in the process of recruiting for the second edition of the program, for which we submitted an application in March of last year. The value of the project is over 600,000 PLN, 100% financed by external funds for the purchase of another 100 computers with Internet access for our residents.
