On September 1, on the 76th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II, representatives of the city authorities, county authorities, uniformed services, veterans, and youth paid tribute to the heroes at the Monument to the Fallen for the Land of Myszków.
Mayor of the City of Myszków Włodzimierz Żak and his deputy Iwona Franelak, Deputy District Governor of Myszków County Anna Socha-Korendo, and Chairman of the County Council Andrzej Jastrzębski laid flowers at the monument along with representatives of the District Police Headquarters in Myszków, delegations of veterans’ organizations, and the youth of Public Schools No. 3 and 5.
The military and patriotic songs were performed energetically but with the due respect by the “Eskadra” group. The ceremony was conducted by Aleksandra Pindych – Director of the City Cultural Center in Myszków.
