Last Saturday and Sunday, on the Sports and Recreation Complex “Dotyk Jury” in Myszków, men’s and mixed doubles beach volleyball tournaments took place, marking the opening of the beach volleyball season in Myszków. The competition in the tournaments was played in the so-called Brazilian system (second loss meant elimination from the tournament), with sets played to 21 points. The men’s tournament was won by the pair from Warsaw Drobiecki/Słyk, who defeated the pair Dorobisz/Żoń from Żarki in the final (21:15). The mixed doubles tournament was won by the pair from Jastrzębie Zdrój, Grząślewicz/Madej, who defeated the local pair Wawrzyniak/Miłoch in the final (21:16). The best pairs at the end of the tournaments received trophies and diplomas. Both tournaments attracted a lot of interest, with increasingly stronger pairs from not only the Silesian voivodeship participating.
