Participatory Budgeting 2016 – submissions after verification and meeting dates

29 ideas for beautifying or improving life in Myszkow will be subject to voting in the first edition of the Participatory Budget.
A few words of reminder. The Participatory Budget (also known as civic) is a specially designated amount from the city budget, the allocation of which is directly decided by the residents.
For the implementation of the participatory budget, the city of Myszkow has been divided into 9 districts, with 100,000 PLN allocated for each district. From July 27 to August 21, appropriate applications could be submitted.
INFORMATION FROM VERIFICATION
The Participatory Budget Team along with the city departments has completed the verification of the proposed projects for implementation in the first edition of the Participatory Budget in Myszkow. All submitted projects were discussed and verified with their additions.
Out of the 32 proposals submitted by the residents of Myszkow, 30 were positively reviewed, 2 were rejected (the first one did not meet formal requirements – submitted after the deadline, in the second case, the request was rejected because the cost of the task exceeded 100,000 PLN, the task will be carried out as part of the investment task “Improving traffic safety through the modernization of selected sections of municipal roads – Phase II”).
List of projects subject to voting along with the results of verification divided into districts
In the district of Mrzyglodka, one application for 100,000 PLN was submitted, and it is already known that there will be no voting in this district as the project will be implemented in 2016. Congratulations to the residents of this district.
MEETINGS OF THE MAYOR WITH THE RESIDENTS
To discuss the submitted applications and present the selection procedure, meetings with the Mayor of the City were proposed for the residents of each of the 9 districts.

VOTING
Voting on the selection of projects to be implemented in 2016 will take place simultaneously in 8 districts on December 8 (Tuesday) from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM at the locations where meetings with the Mayor of the City and residents take place.
Residents of a given district who have reached the age of 16 have the right to participate in the vote. Voting is done by placing an X on the selected project on the ballot.
Projects that receive the highest number of votes in a given district will be considered for implementation in 2016 until the financial resources allocated for the implementation of the participatory budget in the district are exhausted.
