The Food Bank in Częstochowa announces an open call for a local partnering organization (LPO) to implement activities in the City and Municipality of Myszków under the Operational Programme Food Aid 2014-2020 (POPŻ) co-financed by the European Fund for the Most Deprived in the 2018 Sub-programme. Entities eligible to participate in the call: Non-governmental organizations and other non-public institutions operating in the City and Municipality of Myszków. Partnership objective: Providing food assistance to the poorest residents of the City and Municipality of Myszków during the period from August 2018 to June 2019. Requirements for the Partner: An entity wishing to implement activities under POPŻ 2014-2020 in the 2018 Sub-programme is obliged to provide and comply with the minimum standards specified in the Guidelines of the Managing Institution (MRPiPS) for the Implementing Institution and beneficiaries regarding activities carried out under the Operational Programme Food Aid 2014-2020 co-financed by the European Fund for the Most Deprived in the 2018 Sub-programme from 10th April 2018, i.e.: 1. In the administration area: 1) having technical facilities to ensure proper food distribution services, including administrative premises, phone, and if possible, a computer, 2) providing publicly available information on the website, if available, describing the activities carried out by the organization under the 2018 Sub-programme, 3) providing publicly available information at the distribution location regarding: funding of POPŻ from EU funds, eligibility criteria and procedures for qualifying individuals for food aid under the 2018 Sub-programme, rules for transferring food items, and the possibility and procedure for filing complaints by the most needy individuals regarding the distribution process by the organization, 4) cooperating with the relevant social assistance center, 5) distributing food only in premises owned by the organization and/or delivering food items to the residences of the most needy individuals, 6) organizing food distribution in a way that prevents any stigmatization and discrimination of program beneficiaries, 7) maintaining necessary documentation and verifying documents entitling individuals to receive assistance. 2. In the storage area: 1) having warehouse facilities for storing food items in conditions specified by the manufacturer, 2) providing monitoring/protection through specialized companies or using own resources and capabilities, 3) ensuring unloading and loading of food items, 4) keeping separate warehouse records in electronic form (using specialized computer software) or in paper form allowing for clear identification of individual warehouse operations for the 2018 Sub-programme and tracing the distribution path of the individual batches of food items, 5) maintaining collective warehouse records on a monthly basis to trace the distribution of each batch of individual food items according to the principles set out in the Guidelines, 6) preventing food waste by adopting a rational food storage management system for food items delivered under the 2018 Sub-programme.
