In 2009, a number of repairs were carried out on gravel and asphalt roads. 330,000 PLN was spent on asphalt roads, practically renovating all roads under the jurisdiction of the Mayor of Myszków. In total, 6500m2 were renovated. Work on these roads will be continued as needed. There were also repairs carried out on the stormwater sewer system, including inspection chambers. 34 wells were adjusted, with 8 manholes and 18 drains replaced with new ones, and 4 entire enclosures were replaced.
Horizontal markings were renewed on 3000 m2, costing 35,000 PLN. Damaged, stolen, or destroyed traffic signs are continuously being replaced in the vertical markings. The cost of these works is 15,000 PLN.
Sidewalk repairs are also carried out continuously in places where damage and destruction have occurred. So far, 190 m2 have been renovated for a total of 20,000 PLN.
Furthermore, 57,000 PLN was spent on the renovation of a residential road connecting Wolności Avenue with Leśna Street, including the construction of two entrances and a partial renovation of the concrete surface along with a section of the sidewalk on Leśna Street.
Stormwater sewers on roads administered by the Myszków Municipality were also cleaned. These works are carried out progressively, as needed throughout the year. By the end of June, 28,000 PLN were spent cleaning 400 meters of sewers of various cross-sections and levels of siltation. Additionally, 200 meters of ditch maintenance with simultaneous shoulder profiling were carried out. The cost of this task was 15,000 PLN.
