Yesterday, on January 15th, the first event of the “Run for Health 2017” series took place at the Sport and Recreation Complex “Dotyk Jury” and PZU Health Trails. There was also a fundraising organized by volunteers and support for the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.
The race started at 10:00 and participants could complete 1, 2, or 3 loops (each loop was 3 km long). The idea behind the monthly runs in Myszków is to attract as many people who enjoy physical activity as possible, which is why there is no final classification. Additionally, among the participants, there was a group that completed the 10 km+VAT distance.
After the race, participants could warm up with a cup of hot tea prepared by the organizers – MOSiR Myszków, and also enjoy a warm meal like pea soup or sour rye soup prepared by the Myszkowski Motorcycle Club. The event concluded with the main prize draw and additional vouchers for the gym, swimming pool, and aqua aerobics classes at MOSiR Myszków.
The main prize, an electric grill, went to Gabrysia Słocińska.
