Screenings of the film “Heaven Can’t Wait” at Resursa

The loud film titled “Heaven Can’t Wait” will be shown at Resursa Obywatelska as part of the November edition of the “Signposts” series. The film will be screened on Wednesday, November 15th at 12:00 and 18:00. It is an emotional and empowering movie that also bridges the generation gap. Its protagonist is a teenager named Carlo Acutis, who passed away from leukemia in 2006 and was canonized three years ago. The story of Carlo Acutis was brought to life by the outstanding Spanish documentary filmmaker Jose María Zavala (creator of films such as “The Secret of Father Pio” and “Wojtyła: Investigation”). He didn’t just portray the joyful life of a teenager who was passionate about computers, video games, and playing the saxophone. He also documented what happens after the death of a young person – Carlo Acutis becomes one of the most popular saints of the Church, and faithful people make pilgrimages to his grave in Assisi, with hundreds of testimonies confirming his intercessory power (based on the distributor’s description). Admission is 15 złotys. Tickets can be purchased at the Resursa box office from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 and 16:00, on biletyna.pl, or before the screenings.
