Second edition of Jura MTB Race.

Time for the second edition of Jura MTB Race
We have a cycling weekend ahead of us in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. For 3 days from August 18th to 20th, mountain biking fans will be testing their skills. This is a proposal for both regular training and amateurs looking for new challenges.

Three days, three challenges.
Stage races, including Jura MTB Race, are extremely popular worldwide. In Poland, mountain biking events dominate, while the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland seems to be the perfect compromise between off-road riding and the skills of many cycling enthusiasts.
– Last year’s edition showed us that there is demand for this type of event. Cycling’s popularity has been growing significantly for several years now, and discovering new places and seeking challenges is a natural consequence of this – explains Roman Matysik from Jura MTB Race. – Not everyone wants to start off with mountains. For us, Jura has everything you need for a good time on a bike and, importantly, allows entire families to participate. Participants can choose between two distances: PRO and HOBBY. The PRO distance is about 60 kilometers long and requires more training. On the other hand, for those who prefer less demanding distances, there are 30-40 kilometer HOBBY routes.
– We start from a different location every day, so participants face new challenges. It’s the same Kraków-Częstochowa Upland, but a completely new competition, as well as new locations to explore. Let’s agree, many people later come back to this area to spend some leisurely time and revisit the places where they had the opportunity to race – add the organizers.

Niegowa, Żarki, Myszków
The hosts of the individual stages will be three Jurassic towns: Niegowa, Żarki, and Myszków. Each place, apart from attractive routes, has a lot to offer in terms of activities that will allow participants to spend time after the race, relax, or properly regenerate.
– Participants often come to us with their families, so while they are on the track, other family members can enjoy local attractions. It’s a great way to spend time together, where everyone can find something for themselves. Sometimes the whole family participates, but in the evening after the race, you can meet by the campfire or go on a small trip. We also consider Jura MTB Race as a social event – summarize the organizers.
The first stage will start from Niegowa Stadium, where the race base will be located. The second stage (on Saturday, August 19) will take place at the Leśniowska Frajda in Żarki. The final stage will have its start and finish in Myszków, at the Dotyk Jury complex.
