The teams from J.M. Ossoliński High School in Brzeg Dolny took first place in the County Youth High School Championships in boys’ handball and second place in the elimination rounds for the final of the Wrocław zone Youth High School Championships in boys’ indoor football. The County Youth High School Championships in boys’ handball were held on February 21 in the sports hall of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center in Brzeg Dolny. The team from Ossoliński, in the final match, after a very exciting game, defeated the team from ZZS Wołów 10:9 (3:5) and advanced to the next round of the competition. The lineup of the Ossoliński team included: Mateusz Bandura (captain), Łukasz Tkaczyk, Wojciech Przychodny, Filip Broniewicz, Jan Kawalec, Miłosz Pytlak, Denis Szeremeta, Mateusz Zieliński, Bartosz Chyziński, Maksym Białkowski, and Tomasz Organiściak. On March 1, the team from Ossoliński won second place in the elimination rounds for the final of the Wrocław zone Youth High School Championships in 5-a-side indoor football. In the tournament in Trzebnica, they defeated the teams from the General High School in Milicz 2:0 (Bandura 2) and the General High School in Trzebnica 4:0 (Woś 2, Gruś and Kawalec). In the final, after an exciting match, they lost to the team from the School of Sports Mastery Junior Wrocław 1:4 (Bandura).
