On February 20, 2018, at Primary School No. 1, a performance entitled “SMOG” took place. Its aim was to draw attention to one of the main causes of smog, which is low emissions, such as burning waste in home stoves. Students from class V b also presented ways to prevent and fight smog. The association of smog with a dragon and the brave and righteous knights fighting it were used. We hope that in this way, students from grades I-VI will not only remember the importance of the problem but also influence the ecological awareness of their parents and grandparents, thus contributing to the improvement of air quality in Mijaczów and in the whole of Myszków. Additionally, lessons and discussions on smog were held in classes IV-VI, and in class V b, a noticeboard was created in the hall presenting ways to fight smog.
