On August 22, 2009, a trip to Ustroń took place as compensation for children and parents affected by a teacher from SP6 Nowa Wieś. The departure from the OSP station in Nowa Wieś took place at 8:00 am, and the whole group was supervised by caregivers from the MDK: Marta Kozińska and Renata Lewandowska.
The entire trip was personally conducted by Mayor Romaniuk, the initiator of the trip, wishing all participants favorable weather and unforgettable experiences.
The first attraction of the whole trip was undoubtedly the Forest Park of Surprises located in Ustroń-Zawodzie. The picturesque spa area abounding in many tourist attractions, including a station for birds of prey, operated by qualified falconers, aroused fascination with wild nature among the participants. In the extensive park area, among the beauty of nature, one could admire, feed, or even caress wild animals. Everyone was amazed by the imposing stance of deer, the friendly nature of fallow deer, and the gentleness of roe deer. The youngest participants had the opportunity to participate in fun activities at the recreational and leisure complex, which includes a playground and charming scenic spots. There was also time for buying various souvenirs.
Next, the participants of the trip went to the cable car station, where they had a ride up to Czantoria. At the upper cable car station, on the Stokłosica Glade, there is a Summer Toboggan Run, from which the participants of the trip had the opportunity to enjoy. After a day full of attractions and impressions, the return home took place.
